Mitchell Rubber Saudi Arabia, LLC (MRSA) is the U.S.-based parent company and sole owner of Mitchell Rubber Arabia LLC (MRA).

MRSA provides the ownership platform through which MRA’s Saudi industrial-development strategy is advanced. Its members contribute experience and perspective spanning rubber manufacturing, advanced materials, business development, investment strategy and organizational leadership.

As project requirements arise, MRA’s General Manager draws upon selected MRSA members and specialized advisors for technical, operating and strategic guidance in developing the planned Saudi rubber-compounding and downstream manufacturing platform.

Founder, Chairman and CEO, MRSA | General Manager, MRA

Stephen founded Mitchell Rubber Saudi Arabia, LLC (MRSA), the U.S.-based parent company and sole owner of Mitchell Rubber Arabia LLC (MRA).

Drawing upon decades of experience across the rubber, engineered-elastomer and manufacturing sectors, he provides MRSA with strategic leadership in industrial development, business planning, stakeholder engagement and the advancement of its Saudi investment platform.

Stephen also serves as the registered General Manager of MRA, where he leads the development of the planned Saudi rubber-compounding and downstream manufacturing platform.

Co-Founder, Strategic and Technical Advisor, MRSA

Shahram Shafie is the Co-Founder of Mitchell Rubber Saudi Arabia, LLC, working with Founder Stephen J. Lautenschlager to establish the U.S.-based parent company and advance the technical foundations of the Mitchell Rubber initiative.

Drawing on extensive experience in chemical engineering, petrochemical processing, advanced materials, sustainability and technology development, Shahram provides specialized guidance concerning rubber compounding, process technology, resource efficiency and circular-economy applications.

His technical perspective supports the planned development of localized rubber-compounding and engineered-elastomer manufacturing capabilities in Saudi Arabia.

Chief Operating Officer and Strategic Advisor, MRSA

Trevor Ballou is a fourth-generation member of the Mitchell family’s rubber-industry legacy and serves as Chief Operating Officer and a strategic advisor to Mitchell Rubber Saudi Arabia, LLC.

He brings experience spanning engineered elastomers, manufacturing operations, strategic planning, process improvement and organizational development. Drawing upon the Mitchell family’s long-standing experience in custom rubber manufacturing, Trevor provides operating and industry perspective to the parent company. As project requirements arise, MRA’s General Manager draws upon his specialized knowledge to inform manufacturing strategy, operating considerations and the development of the planned Saudi rubber-compounding and downstream manufacturing platform.

Co-Chairman and Board Member

Anil is the Co-Chairman, Board Member and Strategic Execution Advisor of Mitchell Rubber Saudi Arabia, LLC (MRSA). He brings 25+ years of Corporate Management Consulting experience to the Company’s investment strategy, business development and expansion initiatives. As a Senior Partner and Partner for 17+ years across PwC, Accenture and EY US Management Consulting, he worked with Fortune 100 company “C-Suite” executives and Boards of Directors, to help them realize profitable growth through Commercial Excellence (B2B marketing, sales, service and operations). His experience also includes new consulting start up businesses and various global and country level business leader roles. 

As a trusted board member, Anil serves as a C-Suite execution advisor for MRSA, providing strategic growth, investment strategy, commercial excellence, business development, and technology-enabled innovation counsel, ensuring MRSA is positioned for long-term success as the rubber cluster anchor company in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

As Co-Chairman, Anil plays a critical advisor role in shaping MRSA’s investment roadmap, funding structures, and strategic capacity scaling. His experience in private equity-backed ventures, multinational enterprise transformation, and investor relations provides MRSA with a global business perspective and strong financial stewardship, ensuring alignment with Vision 2030’s industrial localization goals.

Member and Strategic Advisor, MRSA Principal Tannehill Capital

Dr. Rocky Tannehill is a member and strategic advisor to Mitchell Rubber Saudi Arabia, LLC and a Principal of Tannehill Capital Partners.

He brings extensive experience as an entrepreneur, investor and executive leader across private enterprise, investment ventures, real-estate development and business formation. Rocky has been involved with the Mitchell Rubber initiative since its early development, contributing perspective concerning strategic planning, capital formation, governance and long-term value creation.

As project requirements arise, MRA’s General Manager draws upon Rocky’s investment and family office entrepreneurial experience to inform the development of the planned Saudi rubber-compounding and downstream manufacturing platform.

Advisor and Investor, MRSA

Janie Lautenschlager serves as an Advisor and Investor in Mitchell Rubber Saudi Arabia, LLC.

She brings more than two decades of experience in international retail, brand management, strategic partnerships and customer engagement. Her perspective contributes to MRSA’s strategic thinking in corporate positioning, stakeholder relationships, organizational values and long-term partnership development.

As project requirements arise, MRA’s General Manager draws upon Janie’s commercial and relationship-focused perspective to inform stakeholder engagement and enduring partnerships as the Saudi industrial platform advances.
